I've neglected this somewhat recently so a quick update. The Bolton Poker6 was a great event for me as I won my table beating some established Pros to take home £2000. The blind structure was very good and meant a 6 seater table starting at 8pm finished at 3am the following morning.
My next success was to win one of the Poker Player Spin Palace shootout freeroll events which gave me entry to a live event in the pokerzone TV studios. It was a fast game designed for TV so luck played more part in the game than skill. To see how I got on check out pokerzone on 21st November at 8pm.
Two final table places in the Poker Player Grand Prix 2 series meant another expenses paid trip to a live event, this time at the Big Slick club in Croydon courtesy of Betfair. Free booze meant an early exit for me but got to meet lots of fellow punters lounge members and had a great night.
